We understand the importance of mobility and its role in improving the well-being and health of people with disability. Our dedicated support workers are well trained to provide you with assistance on a daily basis with travelling or using public transport in order for you to be able to go out and about without any hesitation.
One of the core principles of the NDIS is that people with disability are given choice, control and responsibility over their services. To do this, they must have the opportunity to access necessary transport to access support services such as education and health care. The NDIS enables participants to build capacity to independently travel. Transport supports include personal transport-related aids and equipment, or training to use public transport. A participant’s transport supports may also include the reasonable and necessary costs of taxis or other private transport options.
